Vampire Queen Diamante is the goddess of the undead which 
Means that she is generally worshipped by necromancers, 
animators, grave robbers and all who span the boundary between 
life and death.  Midwives, sextons, assassins, healers,  witches 
may also take an interest in her religion.  It is natural that the 
undead heed her call.  Race is irrelevant; Diamante accepts all 
who believe.

Her primary ambition is to defeat the endeavors of the gods of 
the dead and evade their sentencing after death.  The acquisition 
of knowledge and power are the principal goals of her followers.  
Inhabitants of the lands generally dislike or even hate the patroness 
of the undead, although they may barely accept her because of her 
interest in necromancy and links with the dearly departed.  

Her priesthood is small and secretive, but in some lands, her 
following can be numerous. The majority of her living worshippers 
are necromancers and wizards, whose primary objectives are to 
cheat the gods of the dead by becoming liches, the most cherished 
of her faithful.

Diamante prefers to be worshipped through dark rites, evil deeds 
and, where appropriate, demonstrations. Her festivals tend to be 
secretive.  Offerings of souls may earn her smile.  Retribution is 
dealt to those followers willing to grant the dead safe passage. 
They face banishment from her realm and subsequent delivery 
to the gods of the dead, necessitating their judgment.  Their fate 
is an eternal torment in those kingdoms.
